Even if they don’t know it, there are two professional disciplines that overlap each other big time - Human Resources (HR) and Knowledge Management (KM). Both have everything to do with the two most important drivers of the corporate engine – the people who man it and the corporate body’s acquired knowledge and experience, variously styled as the employers’ raison d'être, its tried-and-tested practice, its heritage, its legacy or its history.
