Employees today all over the world are under constant pressure to work longer hours and take less time off, but this push towards productivity does more harm than good. Believe it or not, 9 out of 10 Brits admitted to dragging themselves to work even when they fell sick.

We don’t need to look far to read and hear about psychological safety both in and outside of the workplace. The problem though, is that the steps on how to create a safe space are either motherly, extremely elementary, or obvious.
Most of the world’s 3.4 billion workers are unwell. Around 76 percent report, they’re struggling or suffering from their wellbeing. Around 52 percent are overweight. Roughly one billion suffer from anxiety and one in four experience mental disorders.
Benefit programs are a key factor in recruiting and retaining employees. However, they can be confusing for many employees. Research shows only 19.3 percent of employees report a “somewhat high” or “very high” understanding of their benefits.
There are many academic studies that focus on the organizational and managerial factors that improve employee satisfaction and performance. Organizational culture is one such area that plays a critical role and is a strategic prerequisite for business success in today’s knowledge-based economy.
