    We are now working more hours than we sleep, overturning the efforts made in the 19th century to reduce the working hours of factory workers to the 'eight hour' day. This may appear to be a win for business growth and profits, but closer inspection reveals this is not the case. In fact, the reported epidemic levels of sleep deprivation and associated negative consequences could be the very thing harming both UK employee health and wellbeing and business potential.
