Q: Tell us the story behind the company. What led you to start it?
Charlotte: About 3 years ago, while I was selling my first company, my cousin became the first licensed aesthetician in the state of Florida with down syndrome. Almost instantly after getting my first facial from her, I knew this would be my next venture. It was so clear to me that there is a gap that exists between what people with disabilities are told their potential will be and what it really can be.
Q: Give us a brief about the company and its products.
Charlotte: Inclusively is a professional network and employment platform that is using a patent-pending matching algorithm that is using human-first criteria to bring job matching into the modern age. We incorporate a combination of traditional search criteria, accommodation-matching, and a clinical algorithm that maps physical and mental characteristics back to the functions and skills that make up the workforce. Our go-to-market strategy is to leverage this technology to help connect candidates with disabilities to open positions with employers.
Q: What are the new trends that you see in the HR market where you could be catering to?
Charlotte: Employers are finally starting to include people with disabilities into their diversity and inclusion agenda.
Q: What new improvements are you planning to your solutions?
Charlotte: I am really excited about launching our micro-training modules in 2021. This will allow us to send hiring manager “micro-trainings” on accommodations based on the candidates they are interacting with on our website. This provides hiring managers relevant and timely training ahead of meeting with a candidate versus annual diversity trainings.
Q: Could you please share a case study?
Charlotte: One of the best testimonials we have received thus far:
“Thrilled to announce that after 570 job applications, hundreds of emails, lots of networking, dozens of interviews, and 7 full months of unemployment due to Covid-19, I’ve accepted an offer as a full-time, remote, Freelance Graphic Designer with JUNIPERunltd, in NYC!
Thank you to the incredibly talented Christina Mallon, for referring me to Inclusively. Without Annie Moore at Inclusively, I doubt I would have had such crazy luck finding this opportunity. Thank you Heather Mee and Laura Pallister for the opportunity to work with Juniper as part of an awesome and dynamic team. And thank you to those, throughout my job search, who have followed along, offered advice, offered me connections, given me support, etc. Please continue to send me these things, as I’ll definitely pay it forward, especially during a time of Covid.
And to think (as someone that was born Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing) that I’ll get to make a difference with my work, and contribute to something that connects with me so deeply...If anyone had told me years ago, that I would get to do something like this, I’m not so sure I would have believed them.
I’m beyond excited to help change the conversations surrounding inclusivity and accessibility.”

Q: What are the market pain points that you are addressing?
Charlotte: For candidates, we give them transparency into their job search so they can find companies that value diversity and inclusion. For employers, we are opening up curated access to an incredibly valuable, but untapped talent pool of people with disabilities.
