Debbie McGrath founded HR.com in August, 1999.  HR.com touches over one million HR professionals in meaningful, impactful ways giving them the tools, contacts, training and content to make them smarter.

Debbie has an extensive background in HR, publishing and the Internet. Previous to starting HR.com she owned The CEO Group, a Canadian and European entity that created job board software, talent management software, HTC Career Magazines and High Tech Career Fairs, which was sold to the Washington Post in 1998 and is now part of IBM/Kenexa.

Debbie has a degree in computer science and business administration, which she earned at the University of Guelph. She lives in, Ontario with her husband Doug and five kids and her best friend her mother in law.  When she has spare time, she can be found sitting on the dock at the lake or swooshing down the slopes with her family.

Gavin began full time with HR.com in August 2017 as co-driver and full time inhabitant of the HRGeniusBus RV.  Gavin and his wife, Sue, travel throughout the US and Canada, supporting and promoting best practices and leaders in Human Resources and companies with great products and technology in the Human Capital space.  Whether behind a microphone, curbside in the HRGeniusBus or schmoozing at an HR event, the Morton team connects HR professionals with educational opportunities that help them get smarter and with leaders in the HR product and technology space that help them move their companies forward.

Gavin also runs HR for HR.com and can be heard as a "color commentator" for some of HR.com research webcasts.

Dr. Heidi Scott brings a wealth of passion and expertise to her job of guiding the design of valuable learning experiences for our members, while aligning all of our learning opportunities and products to our goal of making HR professionals smarter. Making learning fun remains a part of her philosophy of learning. Working to discover and understand the needs of learners at every step of their personal and professional development (in light of our ever-changing culture), informs the ideal process that leads to innovative learning solutions. 

Her PhD in leadership (Gonzaga University), as well as her background in corporate learning solutions, coaching, teaching (both as a K-12 educator, principal, and grad school professor), and public speaking equip her to collaborate well and facilitate our learning design with thought leaders and subject matter experts. 

She loves to encourage people to learn and grow, helping them to bring the best of who they can be to each day. She finds time for the important things in her life...learning, running, paddle boarding, and time with family and friends at their North Idaho lake home.

With more than 20 years of experience in human capital, Brad is an accomplished sales and executive leader with a successful record of growing business, building customer-centric teams, and developing strategic partnerships. Prior to HR.com, Brad held leadership positions in business development and alliances at GSV, Bersin by Deloitte, Verifications, Inc. (acquired by First Advantage), HotGigs and BrassRing. He also previously served in enterprise sales and strategic account management at PreVisor (acquired by CEB), CareerBuilder, and Techies.com.

Brad is responsible for HR.com and HR Marketing Institute's business development, customer success, and partner programs. He is focused on accelerating growth into new markets, delighting clients, and creating an environment where people love to work.

Mark has worked in the fields of business research and communications for most of his career. For over a decade, he was a research analyst and, later, Managing Editor at the Human Resource Institute at Eckerd College. He also worked as a writer at Nielsen Media, a senior analyst in learning and development at Bersin by Deloitte, VP of Research as the Institute for Corporate Productivity, and Principle at Vigoré Publications, His areas of expertise include business writing and editing, with a focus on research related to management, HR, and future-focused trends and technologies. He graduated with Honors from Eckerd College.
