SACRAMENTO, Ca - Keith L. Vencel, a Northern California based human resources practitioner, educator, and strategist was recognized as a 2005 Future Human Resources Leader by Human Capital magazine in San Diego, June 20, 2005. The award was presented during the Annual Conference and Exposition of the Society of Human Resource Management.
Vencel was recognized for his expertise in leading people and organizations. He specializes in IT recruiting, and has been a pioneer in moving an organizational culture from a paper-based system to electronic processes. He is recognized as a visionary and expert in the change management process and human capital principles.
Previously, Vencel worked for Sutter Health, a Northern California healthcare system, where he was recognized for using mass media for branding opportunities, implementation of technology, and embracing change management techniques to improve strategic HR business processes.
Vencel is a human resources consultant and a faculty practitioner at the University of Phoenix, Northern California campus. He is recognized as a published author and speaker in the field of Human Resources and is a member of the National Advisory Board, Human Capital Institute, a think-tank and clearinghouse for the newest ideas and most innovative strategies in human capital management.
Keith is a graduate of Golden Gate University in San Francisco and Cleveland State University in Cleveland Ohio. He is a retired Air Force officer and his leadership within the human resources profession, research and development, and his record of volunteerism earned him national recognition.
