Hi, I'm conducting some primary research in the area of best practice on

    • Organisational Models, and where Payroll usually sits (under Finance or HR or split?)
    • Payroll departmental models. Roles and reporting structures
    • (1) Payroll account/records setup and (2) Payroll processing. Are these actions typically carried out under the Payroll department, by discrete roles, or via separate HR and Payroll departments?

Any definitive information/pointers on the above would be greatly appreciated.
