Hi All!
I'm starting to build a new social platform that will help professionals with their career growth and development. I have some questions below if anyone is interested in providing some feedback.
High level overview of our application features:
- Provide a mechanism for professionals to rate themselves and others on the hard and soft skills
- Provide a mechanism to allow professionals to be awarded badges for additional services performed above and beyond their normal responsibilities
- Provide a mechanism to allow professionals to give and receive feedback to each other
- Allow this feedback to be internal to the company or external/public to the professional (allowing the professional to own that feedback as well after they leave the company)
- Allow the company the ability to manage feedback settings through a company policy
- note: we want to empower professionals to own more of their professional data/feedback. Allowing the professional to accept public feedback and/or show/hide on their public profile
- Future features may include:
- Tools for managers to help direct reports with their career growth
- Analytics and tools to help C-level gain better insights into department health
- Formal Review features
- Hiring platform / professional search
- HR services
Questions:
- Are there any legal concerns for allowing feedback of professionals to be internal AND external (depending on the type of feedback issued)
- Are there any legal issues with any of the above features that we should be concerned about?
- Is this an application that HR professionals would want to use?
