Outsourcing can do much more than cut costs, especially when it comes to payroll. Paying people the right salaries at the right time is more complex than it sounds. From data collection to calculating pay and deductions, it is made up of many different subprocesses, each requiring dedicated knowledge and skills. Get any of these sub-processes wrong and pay people the wrong amount and you lose their trust. And without trust you cannot win employees’ engagement. |

In any organisation, there are bound to have a couple of employees that would be labelled as ‘Zombies’’. They head to the office, work at their station or desk and leave for home at the end of the day; leading a mundane work life. This is when employees are not productive at work and they become a liability instead of an asset to the company. Care When a manager actively shows they care for their team, employees will soon realise that the company is not all about making profits or growing market share to the expense of everything else. Employees will know that the company that they are working for are also interested in their well-being. This results in a team of people who are actively invested in the physical and mental well-being of each other, and tend to be more productive, happier, and result in higher profits for the company. Connect : connected with employees by having informal chats regularly, as well as regular performance reviews to make sure that they are satisfied with everything in their immediate workplace; ask questions around workplace environment, their thoughts on colleagues and even their workload and daily tasks. When companies show that they welcome feedback and use the feedback provided, employees will feel comfortable in approaching their managers openly, and without prejudice.CoachSuccessful leaders who create fantastic teams and culture are often found to actively coach and guide their employees, rather than barking orders or micromanaging them. Encouraging employees in this way will help you retain, empower and grow your talented staff. They will tend to stay longer, be happier and is a fantastic method of engaging employees.ContributeYou should encourage employees to make their own contributions and sharing their own ideas. Employees want to know that their suggestions are as equally as important as management, and that their contributions can play a significant part in making the company successful. It’s that old adage, ‘no idea is ever a stupid idea’. So don’t simply dismiss ideas raised by the team if you feel they do not fit; instead thank the person, and then explain and justify why the idea may not execute well within the business. When ideas are dismissed without explanation, employees tend to be fearful of contributing in the future, as they are afraid of being rejected once again.CongratulateYou should work on creating the habit to regularly praise or congratulate those employees who have done something excellent; whether it be at work or in their personal lives. Praising employees in front of their co-workers is also a big confidence boost to those on the receiving end of your compliments. Engaging employees successfully will make a positive difference in modern organisations. It should be one of the priorities in the company as employees are the backbone of the company and they are the ones that help the company to succeed. |

Employees who are engaged are more productive and report higher satisfaction and there would be happy clients. It makes a clear difference between a successful and unsuccessful organization. Here are the 3 ways to engage the employees. 1. Communication and feedback It's important for the managers to speak with the team members who are disengaged and let them know that you value their feedback on whether everything is going well with them or not. Communication also serves as an important bridge, for various reasons. Talking directly with the employee will help to analyze the root cause of the drop in performance. So, the feedback matters a lot to increase employee engagement. Employees can tell their problem if they are able to communicate and express your expectations without any problem. 2. Use incentives for the employees Incentives are important for employees and suits best for employees who work hard and there is recognition also. Employees work hard when they are motivated by the support of their managers and HR department. You can promote an employee who works hard to a higher position. You can also provide small rewards like a certificate or a coupon for a restaurant. Also, you can create a certain competition among the employees but don’t create a fiction between your employees. 3. Work-life balance is important If the work-life balance is better than the employees will remain happy for the long run. You must build the policies around trust and knowledge. Don’t choose policies around what might happen if someone takes any advantage of the system. The policies should be created for the employees not in the fear of the expectations. The modern policies will help people to stay in the company for a longer run. Modification count: 1 |

Employee engagement ensures that the employees comprehend the fundamental values and vision of the company so that they emotionally invest in their work. A study reveals that a company with higher employee engagement can endure the recession period and get back to normalcy sooner than the companies with lower engagement. Engaged employees show up for work not because they are being paid but they are emotionally connected with their work. The engaged employees will be able to align their personal goals with the organization’s mission, in turn, increase the productivity of the company. Employee engagement helps the employees to realize self-actualization and satisfaction through their work. Employees feel valued, and the employee attrition rate goes down. This decrease in employee turnover helps companies to save the termination costs. Here are a few methods to improve employee engagement at your company.
