EE with Multiple Sclerosis' office being moved - note from doctor says too stressful

Have an employee (20 years) who has a hard time walking because of MS, and she has been working in an office for two years. Prior to that, she was in an office in our factory. Her department is being relocated back to the factory, and her start time is changing from 7am til 8am. She got a doctor's note indicating the new start time is causing her stress, and having to sty late in the day is aggravating her MS. What to do?

I'm guessing you have to accommodate, most likely by letting her come in earlier or at least leave earlier, perhaps with reduced pay if that cuts hours she can't make up. You could try getting second opinions from docs you specify, but that can be time-consuming, you'll have to accommodate in the mean time and it may not change anything. I'd try saying, 'we'll accommodate till you adjust - say 3 months at 7 am, 3 at 7:30 and then you're on the 8 am shift with everyone else,' and see if that flies. I find it hard to imagine why the time makes such a difference unless it's traffic or something like that. Asking lots of questions sometimes reveals other possible solutions.
