    Can Managers get tips?

    Hello,
One of my clients (in Florida) has a manager that has decided to not replace one of his servers and he is now covering that spot. The problem is that he is not putting the tips he gets on the tip pool and he is keeping them for himself and some of the employees have taken notice and are questioning if he should be getting the tips at all. Because of his managerial role (and covering for his staff being one of his responsibilities) his salary has not been changed. I do not believe he should keeping the tips, but I have been unable to find anything regarding this topic for the state of Florida. I know in CA is not allowed. Can anyone share anything you may know on the topic?

    Thanks so much!!

    Geral
