I hae recently interviewed a goodn excellent candidate for a position in my dental practice. She tested positive for marijuana and based on the rest of her data is probably an exception. She apparently smoked a cigar that was laced at new years eve, and claimed to be ignorant as to the drug being present. I use a leasing company that administers all benefits, and received the test results. Is there any way that she could be given a probationary position with random drug screens as a requirement for employment, or does our drug free workplace criteria prohibit this. I'm in Georgia.
