ACA Question

How are HR Benefits Specialists handling the following scenario: Employer A employed employee # 222; employee # 222 after two years decides to change to a per diem status/as needed basis . Employee #222 was FT during the 2014 calendar year. Does this mean that for this particular employee, Employer A has to offer employee #222 medical insurance per ACA? In addition the following is also important information to know the following for employee #222. Employee #222, took a FT position elsewhere; the 2nd Employer B offered benefits to employee. Also, employee #222 is being covered by her spouses' insurance benefits. To avoid any potential penalties Employer A offer insurance to employee #222. This means employee #222 has triple coverage. Does anyone out there know if ACA has address this particular situation? And/or does an employer have to provide coverage if the employee has insurance elsewhere? I know, this is very confusing and complicated situation. Thanks HR Rocks
