    Employee engagement is the level of emotional commitment and interest an employee has to their employer and the work allotted to them. 

    Engaged employees are more productive and less likely to leave for green pastures. Having a high level of employee engagement in your company improves your employees' productivity and creativity, which in turn helps the organization to grow.


    5 Reasons why employee engagement is important:
    • When employees are engaged, they will be productive in their work, which results in productivity, creativity, innovation, and increased turnover rates.

    Thanks for sharing these reasons, and I would also like to add my perspective here. As we know, employee engagement is necessary to achieve the company's goals, enhance its sales and much more. However, employee engagement is also significant for individual teammates. Yes, it has been seen that more engaged employees stay happy, own good health and connect emotionally with the company. 

    Although vacations are considered important to increase productivity as per this article but if your employees are engaged to work, they wouldn't like to take leaves. Indeed, employee engagement is essential to overcoming absenteeism and boosting the retention rate.
