I manage a small business. We are experiencing our first case of one of our employees having a baby. The way our current employee manual stands, she gets 6 weeks out at full pay.

How does this compare to the average for small businesses?

My company is also giving employee 6 weeks paid at 100% salary. State Law does not require we do so, but we want to show our appreciation to this employee.
