    Re: Engaging Employees

Employee engagement ensures that the employees comprehend the fundamental values and vision of the company so that they emotionally invest in their work.  A study reveals that a company with higher employee engagement can endure the recession period and get back to normalcy sooner than the companies with lower engagement. Engaged employees show up for work not because they are being paid but they are emotionally connected with their work.  The engaged employees will be able to align their personal goals with the organization’s mission, in turn, increase the productivity of the company. Employee engagement helps the employees to realize self-actualization and satisfaction through their work. Employees feel valued, and the employee attrition rate goes down. This decrease in employee turnover helps companies to save the termination costs. Here are a few methods to improve employee engagement at your company.
    • Set clear goals and discuss them with your employees to know their feedback
    • Deliver continuous developmental feedback on their performance to help them improve
    • 360 degree feedback
    • Regular one-on-one meetings
    • Developmental plans for employees to upgrade their skills
    • Instant rewards and recognition
