Other key findings from the report include:
- Why neutral employees are your biggest risk The report reveals those who score as "neutral" on engagement surveys are often more unsatisfied (or on par) actively disengaged employees, presenting significant risks to culture, engagement, and retention.
- A stark "hierarchy of appreciation" exists. Less than half (45%) of individual contributors are feeling valued compared to 84% of C-Suite executives
- The honeymoon period is over: Only 58% of first-year employees report job satisfaction compared to 74% of longer-tenured staff meaning new employees are significantly less satisfied than their tenured counterparts, with
- Change Resilience: Nearly two-thirds of employees feel optimistic about organizational change, but success hinges on effective communication strategies.
- Prioritizing Personal Needs: In today’s turbulent economy, employees prioritize competitive pay, recognition, work-life balance, and honest communication over traditional collective ideals like company purpose.
