Natarajan leads BCG’s Automotive & Mobility sector in India and has advised leading automotive manufacturers, energy players, and policymakers on large-scale transformations related to electrification, mobility, and sustainability. He has worked extensively in the automotive industry, including with commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and off-highway vehicles. He has played a key role in driving the EV ecosystem forward in India and beyond—working on battery supply chain strategy, go-to-market planning for electric vehicles, and developing government frameworks to enable green mobility at scale.
As a thought leader, Natarajan has contributed extensively to topics such as the economic impact of EVs in India, transition pathways for clean mobility, and the evolution of the global auto industry amid decarbonization efforts. Some of his publications have influenced policy thinking and investment direction in the region and are frequently cited in industry forums and public discourse. Natarajan has experience working with clients on marketing, sales, and pricing; strategy; engineering; large-scale transformation; and organization restructuring.
