With over 17 years of experience in the Protection market, including roles at Canada Life and MetLife, Ranger brings strong expertise in forging meaningful partnerships and driving innovation in the insurance sector. His deep knowledge of the insurance and broker landscape positions him to lead Spectrum.Life’s growth in this critical market.
In his role, Ian Ranger will drive insurers' strategic priorities, fostering strong relationships with key industry stakeholders. He will drive the company’s growth and development of the insurance channel across the UK and Ireland, while building and enhancing strategic partnerships with insurers, intermediaries, and wellbeing providers to deliver impactful and innovative solutions.
Ranger has a proven track record of success. At Canada Life, he was part of a leadership team that grew the Group Employee Benefits Business into one of the largest market players, protecting millions of employees and their families. At MetLife, Ranger played a transformational role in developing Group Income Protection offerings and fostering commercial partnerships with wellbeing providers, underscoring the critical role of health and wellbeing services in the Protection market.
