    New report reveals HR's most in-demand jobs, skills gaps, business priorities and challenges in 2025

    I’m getting in touch to share Robert Half’s new Demand for Skilled Talent report, which explores the greatest challenges, priorities, and hiring strategies of HR leaders for 2025, along with the most in-demand HR roles and skills.  
      
    Some key highlights from the report are below, and please let me know if you’d be interested in coverage, or in speaking with a Robert Half workplace expert to share their insights.  
     
     The following positions are in the top 30% of HR roles in demand, according to an analysis of thousands of job postings and Robert Half placements. 
    • HR coordinator   

    • HR generalist   

    • HR manager   

    • HR specialist  

     
    The talent and skills gap 
    • 52% of HR leaders reported skills gaps within their department, and 48% said the impact of those gaps has increased in the past year. 

    • Skills gaps are most evident in: 

    • Learning and development: 39% 

    • Operations development: 34% 

    • General HR: 31% 

    • Recruitment: 31%
