    Avatars Show Promise as an Interface to AI

    Austin-based UneeQ launched a platform to support training and service delivery through avatars which the company claims “feel alive.”



    Most of today’s discussions of AI user interfaces focus on chatbots, as vendors seek to provide simple, usable mechanisms as a way for users to interact with their solutions. However, a small number of companies believe an avatar would be a better interface than a chatbot, if only it was fast, knowledgeable and secure.

    Now, one of these companies, Austin-based UneeQ, has launched a platform to improve employee training and service delivery through avatars which the company claims “feel alive” and can quickly respond to queries.
