The report further analysed candidate behaviour within the first 30 days of registration, revealing that the average call duration is 5.9 minutes, while candidates made an average of three calls and sent approximately 4 WhatsApp messages during the same period. On average, candidates viewed 5 job postings and applied for three positions within 30 days, reflecting high levels of engagement with available opportunities.
Commenting on the findings,
Mr. Nilesh Dungarwal, Co-Founder and CEO, WorkIndia
said,
"The latest data highlights the evolving dynamics of India's job market, where certain roles attract varying levels of interest across demographics. Tele-calling sees higher participation from women, while delivery roles have a stronger male presence—reflecting the specific needs and opportunities within these industries. Freshers are finding their footing in the back-office sector, which leads in both job postings and engagement metrics. These insights underscore the growing demand for tailored talent solutions, and we are committed to bridging the gap between candidates and recruiters with data-driven hiring strategies."
WorkIndia’s report sheds light on the evolving preferences in India’s job market, showcasing the growth in specific sectors and the increasing emphasis on connecting candidates and recruiters through innovative, technology-driven platforms.
