    In the employment history, background checks have become a strategic imperative to ensure employee verification for potential risk mitigation. Within the data-first environment where information is easily accessible and in abundance, background checks become significant in enabling informed selection decisions. As it helps organisations verify a candidate's information including employment history, criminal records and educational qualifications, and assess their suitability for the applicable role, background screening continues to gain prominence.
