National Infertility Awareness Week (April 23-29) is just around the corner and infertility rates are higher than ever. Yet, less than 1 in 5 companies offer egg freezing as a fertility benefit.
According to the WHO, 1 in 6 people globally experience infertility at some stage in their lives. Despite this, infertility treatments remain inaccessible to many due to cost, availability and other factors.
To support team members navigating fertility, Ally Financial is doubling down on efforts to foster an inclusive environment for all employees and their families through expanded fertility benefits.
In partnership with WINFertility, 192 Ally employees sought fertility services including IVF, IUI, drug therapy, infertility specialist evaluations and adoptions in 2022. This year, Ally also introduced egg freezing fertility benefit to employees – to meet employees where they are, no matter what that may look like.
I’d love to offer you a conversation with Ally’s executive director of benefits, Gwen Gollmer to discuss the importance of expanding fertility benefits and increasing access to infertility treatments. I am also happy to connect you with Ally employees who can speak to IVF and egg freezing for the future.
Please let me know if you’re interested and I’ll coordinate schedules.
