    SE Healthcare Offers Nurse Burnout Prevention Program to American Nurses Association members


    SE Healthcare will provide their Nurse Burnout Prevention Program to the entire American Nurses Association membership for 2023. The results of the May-August pilot were overwhelmingly positive, resulting in over 7,000 member registrations. A survey of participating members showed 95% requested ANA make this an ongoing benefit and that the program directly reduced burnout in over 52% of the nurses. The program gives nurses and physicians immediate, 24/7 access to a video coaching series on real-world challenges that nurses face. In addition, the program includes 25 CNE credits and a reference library of peer-reviewed resources about intervention programs.

    “We chose the SE Healthcare program because it uses real-world clinical data by nurses who understand the day-to-day experiences of our members,” said Stephen Fox, the VP of Membership and Constituent Relations at American Nurses Association. “We were also pleased to see that 86% of nurses said they have actually used a strategy in their work or personal life, which is a tremendous result for any program.”

    The program is designed to be simple, mobile, scalable, and applicable to all healthcare entities and clinicians. A four-question assessment tool assists in identifying specific organizational and individual stressors, all analyzed by demographics and location, and supported by a visual data dashboard.

    “There is an immediate need for action on burnout,” explained Chief Clinical and Innovation Officer Andrea Coyle, DNP, MHA, NE-BC. “Addressing burnout plays a major role in achieving organizational goals like improving retention and quality of care and these latest results reflect proof points that our program supports clinician well-being.”
