CoachHub adds carbon neutral company certification to sustainability efforts
    Press Releases
CoachHub, the leading global digital coaching platform, celebrates today a carbon neutral company certification, adding another milestone to its existing sustainable activities. Having already embraced ESG through a series of initiatives like pro-bono coaching for aid organizations and planting one tree per coachee on the platform, the company invests in actions to reduce carbon emissions internally and through its network.

“Digital coaching is an active driver in supporting the cultural change that derives from corporate sustainable transformation,” comments Matti Niebelschuetz, Co-founder of CoachHub, “Given the importance of this topic for our employees, customers and investors, we are committed to improve our processes and operations so that carbon emissions by coaching hour will be reduced”. The company will continue compensating residual emissions via certified climate action projects.

CoachHub collaborated with Planetly by OneTrust to measure its carbon emissions, invest in actions to reduce its impact and commit to plans to reduce future emissions. As a result of this work, CoachHub has been awarded the Carbon Neutral Company seal.

    Driving sustainable transformation and growth

With 100% of coaching sessions run remotely via green servers, CoachHub eliminates the need for coaches and coachees to travel and also cuts overheads like large meeting rooms and training spaces. Digital coaching through CoachHub’s product is by definition more sustainable than in-person coaching, proving that less emissions are inherent to the company’s core business model.

CoachHub is committed to further reduce its carbon emissions by coaching hour through a series of actionable steps to be taken internally and by its partners. Internal actions include continuing to encourage bike and public transport through employee benefits, expanding company-wide emission reduction policy, flight and car policies, use of renewable energy, and lower consumption lighting and appliances at CoachHub offices as well as offering vegan food options at events and offices. In addition, CoachHub will continue working closely with its suppliers regarding their emissions strategies and options to reduce and compensate.
