There is no universal adaptation strategy. The strategy depends on what kind of employees and why the company hires. Here are three examples of what is being done to onboard staff:
- Welcome training. This course is an introduction to the company, its culture, processes and tools for new employees. It can be a one-on-one training, an online course, a lecture for dozens of beginners, and a mobile application.
- Attaching a mentor or tutor - an experienced employee who will introduce the newcomer to work and processes.
- Welcome-pack, or "beginner's set". It can contain corporate merch, branded stationery, nice gifts.
