    Microsoft Teams & Your LMS: How to Get the Best of Both Worlds

    If you’re facing the challenge of getting your employees onboarded and engaged with your education initiatives, the answer is seemingly simple – place studying in the heart of your employees’ work lives. One such app that might already be central to your employee’s work lives is Microsoft Teams.

    MS Teams is not a learning management system (a tool for delivering online learning materials) but rather a collaborative hub for work-related communications. MS Teams can be used for online learning by integrating it with an LMS. Essentially, this means placing an LMS inside the app, allowing users to access the normal functionalities they would in the LMS within MS Teams.

    Such an integration helps because it provides:
    • An ecosystem of communication, collaboration, documentation and studying rather than disparate locations for each.
