Please consider the NFL’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’s first annual event during SuperBowl week to include in your upcoming coverage. If interested in an interview, please let me know and I can coordinate directly. Please see below:
On
Thursday, February 10th, the NFL hosted its inaugural
“A Look Into the Future” breakfast co-sponsored by
PepsiCo, which was centered around three separate panels designed to open intentional discussions on how the league is driving change, creating impact and ultimately becoming ‘Stronger Together’ heading into 2022. Beyond the insightful conversations, The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion tapped into local minority owneded business to make the event a success. The event featured a decked out breakfast spread, coffee and fresh organic juices by
Harun Coffee, beautiful floral footballs & cleats by
Empty Vase, and
HashTag PhotoBooth all curated by
c.luxe creative.
Held at the Intercontinental Downtown Los Angeles, the event was kicked off with
Jonathan Beane, The NFL’s first Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, welcoming guests to a day full of forward progress conversations with over ten thought provoking panelists speaking on matters of
Supplier Diversity,
Diversifying Talent Management, and
Diversifying Content. Panelists ranged from the likes of
Ashley Bell Esq. of
The National Black Fund,
TJ Adeshola Head of Sports at
Twitter, and
Nikki Bethel of
The Emma Bowen Foundation.
During panel intermission event goers were able to get interactive with various on-site activations. From putting their skills to the test with a
Red Zone Football Toss allowing three chances to get branded Forward Progress balls into the net to shopping the
NFL’s Origins collection featuring
Bella Doña, Bricks & Wood, Circulate, and
Rip N Repair at the retail shadowbox — the event was multi-dimensional and will be a highly anticipated event in the years to come.
