    "Push' or 'Pull' - Which is the most effective technique for training & development?


    Should training and development be a ‘push’ technique where it takes on the meaning of mandatory training? Or should it be a ‘pull’ tactic where learners organically gravitate toward training? I think we all can agree that pushing training onto learners seldom yields the desired results. So the key is to foster a workplace that encourages and recognizes continuous learning.

    HR Research Institute’s recently-released report, “The State of HR Skills and Education 2021,” revealed 10 key takeaways you can apply in your organization to help improve the skills and career development for HR professionals. One key takeaway showed that HR Certifications are commonly viewed as being important. In fact, more than half (60%) of HR professionals have at least one HR-related certification.
