Depending on the size of the company, HR Departments estimate that they spend between 50 percent and 70 percent of their time on recruiting new employees each year. A good recruiting program should attract the qualified and discourage the unqualified. Meeting this dual objective will minimize the cost of processing unqualified candidates.
