Opus Interactive Expands Team at its Headquarters in Hillsboro to Support Increased Demand
PORTLAND, ORE. (PRWEB) APRIL 09, 2020
Opus Interactive, a leading provider of complex hybrid cloud hosting services, announces the expansion of their team at their Corporate Headquarters. The woman-owned company is headquartered at their STACK Infrastructure data center campus in Hillsboro where the FedRAMP Authorized cloud provider serves as the exclusive provider for cloud services, IaaS, and retail colocation services at the Tier III-rated facility.
As the Nation rallies to respond, COVID-19 is changing the demands of organizations and accelerating growth of high-tech services, particularly in the healthcare, finance, and government sectors. The decision to expand the team is driven by overall growth and recent increases in demand for network services, VDI, and DRaaS solutions to support critical sectors. Also lending to team’s expansion is increased support for the Company’s 2020 operational focus goals of continuous improvement of its White Glove service offering and increasing productivity overall with workflow and business process automation. The three new hires – Deanna Cochener, Dan Oram, and Tim Sanderson strengthen the company’s ability to deliver hybrid IT solutions to its customers, many of which are in the 16 critical infrastructure sectors defined as essential by CISA.
“COVID-19 has taken a toll on businesses of every size. Opus has been fortunate in that a large percentage of our customer base operates in technology and healthcare - both sectors that need to continue operations during the COVID-19 response. Another area we’re seeing increased demand is within in the government sector – which, is seeing agency investment to support IT modernization and telework solutions,” said Shannon Hulbert, CEO of Opus Interactive.
“Deanna, Dan, and Tim bring added skills, certifications, and automation expertise to the team at a very important time. And, they’re great people. In this unprecedented time, we could not ask for a better team of people to support the services and functions of our customers. We’re happy to have them join us.”
Dan Oram is joining the OI team from Cinder, where he held a Lead Validation Technician Contractor position for Intel. A Veteran of the armed forces, with over 12 years of industry experience, Dan is an accomplished tech with outstanding leadership and network infrastructure skills in both large corporate and hyperscale environments.
Tim Sanderson takes on a role as Systems Administrator at OI. He joins the Company with over 20 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure operations. Tim joins the team with a strong background in project management, support network, software, and managing virtualized services.
Deanna Cochener joins the team as a DevOps Developer. She comes to Opus from The Tech Academy where she managed, trained, and mentored rotating groups of students to develop web applications. Cochener designed and developed n-tier web applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Python, Django, SQL Server, and JavaScript for a variety of industries. Cochener will serve as the developer for automating workflow and business processes for the organization.
