Top 10 Companies That Will Transform Recruiting With Artificial Intelligence in 2020

In a world where we are constantly looking for a faster and easier experience to almost anything that we reach for, we are seeing technology become involved in everything we are doing. The hiring process is no different, as both companies and applicants demand a better, faster and more customized experience.

Companies in particular, must immediately take steps to make this process more efficient and convenient, otherwise you chance losing the candidate in your process. In this current climate, with all time low unemployment rates, employers must make the necessary changes in order to not only capture but hold on to the candidate’s attention.

In the quest for speed and accuracy in technology comes the discovery of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Artificial intelligence is the use of algorithms that imitates human intelligence to carry out mental activities and create solutions through interaction, visual insight, thinking process, natural language processing, and planning. It is that aspect of a computer system that aims to model and apply the intelligence of the human mind. Invariably, it's a computer with human intelligence.

Since the emergence of AI, the 21st century has greatly started to approach it in the transformation of different spheres of industry. However, very few companies have applied it or plan to apply it to enhance its recruitment processing.
Some companies are ahead of the curve and already implementing and providing AI-powered technology to not only improve the candidate’s experience but to make the process smoother and faster for the employer processing and applicants.

    IBM
The International Business Machines Corporation is an American multinational information technology company headquartered in Armonk, New York, with operations in over 170 countries. IBM is among the few technology gurus experimenting on new ways via artificial intelligence to overcome the labour market challenges involving people of different levels of life. Hence, in 2020, IBM is set to explore the system of artificial intelligence to grant a job to those with little or low education background but with productive skills. This is to prevent human bias during the recruitment process and to create hope for skillful but unemployed.

Hence, CareerBuilder has launched the Talent Discovery Platform (TDF) that will help recruiters find potential employees 50% faster and will increase applicant traffic by 175% by 2020. The platform will also help employers to know how efficient a post will be at attracting candidates via each candidate's appeal score.

However, DBS is developing an algorithm for JIM and in turn will use data analytics to identify the predictive behaviours of aspiring employees such as turning up late for meetings, using up holiday time and going home early by 2020. This will enhance the recruitment of more faithful employees.

This has gradually caused a large profit of about $1m for the organization and a cumulation of 100,000 hours per year. By 2020, this profit will set to cause more employment opportunities for more people, hence, artificial intelligence will cause a recycling of revenues.

Mya is a conversational AI-recruiter that combines Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML) and a conversational interface to address major inefficiencies in recruiting and improve the process for both job candidates and recruiters.

However, causing a brighter smile on the face of recruiters in 2020, Mya has partnered with Workday, a company that offers enterprise-level software solutions for financial management, human resources, and planning. By 2020, IKEA plans to recruit over 3,000 young employees in China to boost their revenues in the new fiscal year. Vera, therefore, will create a cheaper and quick recruitment process.

In conclusion, the implementation of artificial intelligence into recruitment, the enhancement that comes with it – such as, improved quality and objectivity in recruitment, cost and time saving – can never be overemphasized or relegated to the background. The innovative approaches by the above companies will build a more creative approach to recruitment and will set them apart from their competitors. Artificial intelligence is always going to be a win-win in the recruiting industry.
