RPI Announces Conference Lineup with Heavy Hitters in Recognition and Retention
    Press Releases
Recognition Professionals International (RPI) has announced their 2019 Annual Experience Conference lineup. With a robust schedule based in research, practice and the latest trends, the conference will be a who’s-who of human resources and recognition leaders. The conference will be focused on the ROI of recognition and trending topics facing the business community today including inclusivity in the workplace, the gig economy, and employee satisfaction and retention.

“RPI is the leading authority on building a strong and sustainable recognition strategy that is based on case studies, research and best practices from innovative and successful organizations across all sectors,” said Executive Director Kathie Pugaczewski. “The conference gathers the best of the best to network, learn and make valuable connections well-beyond the event.”

Over three days attendees will hear keynotes from renowned recognition experts, Dr. Brad Shuck and Dr. Charles Scherbaum, alongside notable presentations from recognition professionals and key leaders at Gallup, Delta Air Lines, GradyHealth, University of Calgary, Yale University, MIT and leading business providers . Attendees will be challenged, engaged, inspired and equipped to return to their organizations to implement sustainable, research-based recognition strategies.

As an organization, RPI believes that employee performance is the key to success for any organization. Based on extensive research, it is known that employee performance is enhanced by systematic employee recognition. A recognition strategy based on the RPI Best Practice Standards® can be that strong driver of employee engagement organizations need and the difference between an employee staying or going to a competitor. According to the State of the American Workplace Report from Gallup , a shocking 51% of employees are searching for new jobs or watching for openings. “Organizations must hone their attraction strategies so they can more effectively recruit and hire sought-after candidates. They also have to ensure their retention strategies are sound. Only one-third of U.S. employees are engaged in their work and workplace. And only about one in five say their performance is managed in a way that motivates them to do outstanding work.”

RPI is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU. IACET developed the original Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and creation and maintenance of the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training. IACET uses the ANSI/IACET Standard, in-depth research on the learning process and a nationwide network of experts to help continuing education and training providers to develop a framework for continuous improvement and a superior learning experience.

The 2019 RPI Experience Conference will be held April 9-11, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. For more details and to register please visit RPI Conference Central.
