    TalentGuard Closes Gap Between Talent Acquisition and Talent Management with Integration


    TalentGuard’s seamlessly shares job role data from its talent management software to auto-populate job postings in Workday’s applicant tracking system

    TalentGuard Inc., a global provider of predictive career pathing and talent management software, has officially announced that users of TalentGuard’s talent management system can now simplify cumbersome tasks through a seamless integration with Workday’s applicant tracking system. With real-time data sharing, TalentGuard can provide comprehensive job role data with Workday to ease the frustration of creating and updating standardized job requisitions. This process is the first of its kind to close the misalignment of data between talent acquisition and talent management.

    In most organizations, talent acquisition and talent management are two separate departments and often do not operate from a universal job role management system that standardizes job role data across talent management processes. Employees’ expectations of the job role requirements are often not met due to the misalignment between job postings and the job role expectations presented throughout the talent management life-cycle, which often leads to high first-year turnover rates.

    Earlier in the year TalentGuard announced phase one integration with Workday. That integration enabled Workday clients to seamlessly integrate their master employee demographic data with TalentGuard’s talent management system. The second phase of this integration ensures automatic job role updates now flow between TalentGuard and Workday, eliminating duplicate data entry, dramatically reducing data inaccuracy, ensuring alignment between job and employee expectations, and eliminating inconsistencies across both systems. The integration also allows employees to see published job vacancies within TalentGuard while building out a career path. Employees are able to search and apply for current vacancies seamlessly.
