    Andrea Burleson, Ph.D., joins F&H Solutions Group as a talent strategist, leadership coach and performance management facilitator.

    F&H Solutions Group (FHSG), a national consulting firm specializing in employee engagement, human resources and labor relations, welcomes Andrea Burleson, Ph.D., to the firm. She will help support FHSG’s growing employee engagement, leadership and coaching, and performance management practice areas.

    As a Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology, Dr. Burleson has continued to refine her expertise in the behavioral sciences. For more than 30 years, she has assisted clients with individual and team assessment, leadership coaching and development, and team building. She has worked with organizations in many different industries, ranging from boutique firms to Fortune 500 companies, delivering targeted solutions to increase employee engagement and productivity.

    Prior to joining F&H Solutions Group, Dr. Burleson worked in consulting and talent management positions in diverse industries. At Exelon Nuclear, United Airlines, and Square D Company, she was responsible for performance management and succession planning, employee selection, and assessment and coaching of high potentials. At United, Dr. Burleson led the redesign and implementation of a new performance management system and process. She was later invited to present this work at various conferences.

    As a consultant, Dr. Burleson has assessed leaders and teams for selection and development, designed competency-based selection systems, designed and implemented organizational and customer satisfaction surveys, and facilitated team effectiveness meetings. One of her proudest accomplishments includes leading a team development process for the site leadership team at a nuclear power plant that contributed to achievement of its first Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) 1 rating. Some of her past clients include McDonald’s Corporation, Entergy Nuclear, TVA, Millstone Power Station, Con Agra, United Airlines, Parker Hannifin, Motorola, and HCSC Blue Cross Blue Shield.

    In addition to management development and consulting roles, Burleson has held academic positions, teaching courses in cognitive abilities testing, industrial/organization psychology, and group dynamics at DePaul University. At Roosevelt University, she taught courses on organizational behavior and organizational development and also designed and led a course focused on career planning.
