    4 Social Skills to land you more high paying clients


    More business customers, more paying clients, more money which is equals to a fast growing business.

    Having more clients and customers is the whole life dream and goal of every business out there today.  Unfortunately, not all business owners get to actualize such dreams.

    While some people can only imagine more business customers and clients, other are out there getting them real time. And we often wonder how? the simple answer my friend, is social and communication skills.

    More especially, if you happen to be in the home management industry, from general home remodelling to specified home cleaning seviices, such as, rug and tile cleaning, steaming,  home carpet cleaning services and repair etc.. the list just keeps going on.

    How to get more Business Customers 

    1. Look approachable and Keep a smiling Face: Many home owners as well as customers feel very much more comfortable around anyone who their heart tells them is nice. It is not a mind manipulation or anything of such, the truth is, a smile sends a thousand messages instantly compared to words. Again, smiling, tells them you are confident enough to handle any given task.

    2. Be full of confidence and act confidently: Now, lets look at it from this angle, will you give a task to a person who in all sense doesnt look like he or she can handle it? Absolutely not.

    When talking with your client, be calm, dont rush words, smile often, and dont shake. Brush your teeth properly, comb your hair, apply some perfume and be with the mindset that this client is already yours.

    3. Be Nice and act nice (even if you are faking it): This is particularly helpful if your work space is something in the home niche. Most home owners wants to hand over any job that has to do with a person coming over or entering their house or home cleaning to a nice person they can trust. On a careful study, who wants to open the door of his house to a fearful looking and rude person? I guess no one.

    If the kids of your client happen to be there when you are discussing with them, tell a little funny joke to them, ask what their favorite music is, what is their view of music and who their favorite singers are, if possible, tell them to demostrate or mimick their favorite celebrities, how cool will it be to have a small music studio in their house and the host of others.

    Act as if you care, play a little with them if possible, and make sure their parents are aware of everything going on. That way, your trust level build up quickly and they feel more comfortable with you, even around their kids.

    4. Appear as a professional: Well, you can actually only do this if you know your trade very well (which by the way is supposed). Most customers love to ask many questions before they hand over the Job to you, for this, you should go as far as not just answering their specific questions, but giving them professional advice as well. Tell them what you think will be best for them, if you are in the home niche, recommend some of the best floor cleaning products for their type of floors and even teach them how to really use it well.

    That way, they have no other choice than to give you the contract.

    5. Master all three social skills above.
