Intrepid by VitalSource announced it has received three Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards for the Providence St. Joseph Health Shared Services nurse manager leadership development program. Recognized with a gold award for Best Results of a Learning Program as well as two silver awards for Best Advance in Leadership Development and Best Use of a Blended Learning Program, the Intrepid Learn™ platform was central to training nurse managers on the job without taking them away from their primary duties.
Providence St. Joseph Health employs more than 120,000 throughout Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The nurse manager learning program consisted of a five-month learning journey wrapped around eight in-person sessions. The online portion of the program was delivered by the Intrepid Learn platform, a modern learner-centric interface that allowed Providence St. Joseph Health to continue the learning in between face-to-face events as well as provide continuing support.
