FuseIT Announces New Sitecore to Salesforce Integration

The latest S4S release publishes Sitecore website analytics in Salesforce and enables sales teams to control the experience of selected website visitors from the CRM.
NELSON, NEW ZEALAND (PRWEB) OCTOBER 04, 2018
FuseIT, the Sitecore to Salesforce integration specialists, announce the availability of S4S release 2.900.18222.3 for Sitecore 9, Update 2. This release includes a number of new innovations that enable Salesforce users to drive the Sitecore® Experience Platform™ to deliver powerful personalized digital experiences in real time.
S4S provides the sales team with deeper consumer insights by surfacing web browsing analytics in Salesforce. With a complete view of a prospect's website behavior, the team can better understand the nuances of the new lead, and more confidently prepare for a sales call. If during the call, new information is learned, the sales team can "adjust" the Salesforce lead record and S4S automatically pushes this change to Sitecore which re-personalizes the website based on the new information. A known prospect currently on the website, or returning to it, is given a targeted experience, usually focusing on the product of interest, or associated cross-sell or upsell products.
Sitecore's content management and digital experience platforms can generate personalized content for individual website visitors in many ways. Typically, Sitecore's personalization rules are used to generate targeted content based on data stored in the Sitecore Experience Database (xDB). Sitecore updates xDB as visitors navigate the website, building up a sophisticated profile of the individual. Using Sitecore rules, personalized web content is then displayed based on the ever-changing information in xDB.
Two types of Sitecore personalization are possible, implicit, as described above, where Sitecore continually changes web content in response to the visitor's current behavior, and explicit, where the web content is more or less hard-wired to fixed values in xDB. S4S Release 2.900.18222.3 supports driving both implicit and explicit personalization from Salesforce. It achieves this by first pushing updated data in Salesforce directly into xDB in real time. Sitecore rules are then used to render the desired content that matches the updated data. The integrated system can be configured so Sitecore digital marketers take ownership of selected, or all, components of the website, while the sale team control other components.
"With this S4S release, brands will improve the data available to their sales team who can leverage it to improve their conversion rates," said Terry Humphris, CEO, FuseIT. "Sales can then choose to control, at a very granular level, exactly what their prospects are seeing on the website."
The new S4S release focuses on real-time integration rather than data replication, or synching, and includes all the features from earlier versions, like the Sitecore forms mapping wizard and the Security Provider which supports authentication into Sitecore portal pages using credentials stored in Salesforce.
