    Recruitment is the process that speeds up with an implementation of software such as resume parser. Resume parser is an excellent tool that can be integrated with ATS to make it more efficient. So, what does resume parser exactly meant? It is the software program that reads all the received resumes and extracts all relevant data such as contact details, educational qualifications, demographic, work experience, etc. to inhabit into a database, CRM, Excel, or Spreadsheet. 

    The resume parser tool is used for all industries from staffing companies, recruitment agencies to enterprises. It is not an easy task to sort hundreds of resumes daily manually as it could take hundreds of hours.
    If you want to make your resume visible to the employer, it is essential to check few parameters of resume parser format. It is more of a screening process rather than reading manually. You need to standardize it to allow the companies extract statistics from your resume.

    1. The format of a resume:

    3. Online portfolio:

    It is remarkable to add cover letter but avoid links pointing to resume such as look at my resume. Instead, use professional profiles such as LinkedIn.Also, ensure to insert all core elements in your resume.

    4. The content of a resume:
    Well-structured resume with proper content increases the probability to get noticed by parsing software as well as by recruiters.
    The accurate information is essential to provide in terms to increase visibility:

    FullName:
    It shows your identity and the most crucial part of your resume.
    Educational details: 
    Ensure that you have summarized all educational information such as schooling details, graduation,post-graduation history, etc.
    Location:
    It is one of the essential criteria applied while parsing. Apparently, recruiters prefer local candidates then look for nearby places. Hence, update your location correctly to increase the visibility of your resume.

    Work History:
    It is the most important thing to include in your CV. Relevant work specifications such as job title, role, an organization may increase chances of being selected by software. Mention details if you have worked part-time or involved in some project while studying. It helps to describe your work capacity which is very important.

    Valid information:
    Once parser selects your resume, then it purely depends on data you have explained in that. If you have a gap of few months or years, then mention a valid reason for it so the recruiter can analyze your resume in a better manner. If you are working simultaneously for two-three jobs, validate the reason that will help to showcase your management skills.

    It is essential to write a proper resume, but the most important thing is the knowledge you have for a particular job title. Hence, sharpen your skills and apply to as many as job profiles you want.
