Winners of the Best Places to Work in Chicago are determined through various factors: The company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics (worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation); and the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to the company’s workplace (worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation). The combined scores determine the best companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and employee survey process, as well as the data analysis to determine the final ranking.
