Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leading technology-enabled workforce solutions provider, announced today that its subsidiary, Operon Resource Management, will be renamed under the corporate brand Eastridge MedTech, a Division of Eastridge Workforce Solutions. Operon, a specialist in medical device recruitment solutions based in Lowell, MA, can offer clients and candidates more opportunities and services under the Eastridge Workforce Solutions umbrella.
Operon was acquired by Eastridge in September 2017, increasing Eastridge’s value proposition to the medical device sector. Operon is the first ISO 13485 registered staffing company in the U.S., enabling it to provide purpose-built solutions for FDA regulated medical device manufacturers.
With these changes, which will be finalized on June 1, 2018, Eastridge MedTech will be a nationally integrated contingent workforce partner, delivering a full range of services, including:
- Eastridge’s technology platform, Eastridge Cloud, that manages the contingent workforce and seamlessly integrates Eastridge's recruitment, 1099 compliance, payrolling and, Managed Service Provider (MSP) services;
- Specialized recruitment solutions in 10 verticals, including technology & engineering, scientific, human resources, legal, and more;
- And, access to multiple locations across the U.S. to support clients nationally.
The Operon management team is staying in place at Eastridge MedTech. Whitney Andrews, former General Manager at Operon, was promoted to Vice President and is responsible for Eastridge MedTech’s day-to-day management. Steve Sawin, former President and CEO of Operon Resource Management, is now a Senior Vice President at Eastridge Workforce Solutions, with a focus on business development for the MedTech sector.
Seth Stein, President of Workforce Recruitment at Eastridge, said the new Eastridge MedTech will offer much-needed support to the medical device industry.
