Hello World. One of the perks of being actively social and picking up women is that you get to hear about people’s issues. A common one is the issue of race or family heritage. I’ve spoken to numerous of Asians, being Asian myself I was surprised to hear some of the thoughts they we’re carrying around.

After the initial barrage of “how are you and what do you do” questions. I cut to the chase as with many people with a non-western ethnicity. I simply ask ” Are you proud of being xyz “.
In this case I asked one of my friends Will.

Will was a young asian male born and raised in Denmark and have never been back to the mainland as I nor has the big interest in his country’s culture or history. He simply answered my enquiry with a blunt “No”.

After propping him with my masterfully placed rapport skills he delved deeper into the matter. Will simply felt that being Asian gave him no whatsoever advantage, rather he felt it was a disadvantage. Describing his fear of being mocked because of he’s skin colour or never really being seen as a real person. To him he felt he was just “that Asian guy” by people. He didn’t even know much about his country’s history or culture.

This however not only concerns Asians. I’ve spoken to Romanians with the fear of the gypsy persona. I’ve spoken to Mexicans, Africans and Germans. They all have their own insecurities.

Yet I also see people in those race brackets that have no such insecurities. Proud of who they are and where they are from.
After years of immersing myself in self-improvement and pickup. I’ve also come to grips with it all. I had similar insecurities about myself as Will had once. Those insecurity led me to this whole thing in the first place. To find myself, to find out that I’m good enough, to accept myself and be proud.

It’s a little process everyone goes through.

They think they are not good enough. They strive to improve. They figure out that they are good enough in the first place. They accept themselves. They allow people to accept them. They become proud of who they are.

I’ve gone through it and I’m happy to announce I’ve reached the end of tunnel on that particular journey.
I’m so self amusing to that degree that I even name drop asian inventions and tell them how awesome we are, all in a joking manner of course. I don’t want to come off sounding like a narcistic prick which in one way or another I am. You get the point.

I love to tell people proudly ” Yo hoe, we invented paper and ice-cream. Admit it! You love’em Ben & jerry’s.”
Or shit like ” Yo we are the longest standing empire bitch. Bow before Mao ”

I might even go all Bruce Lee on people for the heck of it. But it’s all fun and game
A good example of people that’s proud of their heritage: Mike “The Situation” from MTV’s Jersey shore.
They play up the whole being italian and Guido part. It’s all good .
Just be proud of who you are players.

Who you are and where you from makes you unique. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Some of the hottest celebs are even mix raced. My personal favoured is Olivia Munn, soooo my type.

But then again all women are my type.
