The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Amanda Meltzer as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Amanda Meltzer is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.
Upon graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ms. Meltzer immediately embarked on a career in her eld at McCue, a safety equipment supplier headquartered in Peabody, MA.
Since joining McCue in 2013, Ms. Meltzer has steadily climbed the corporate ladder, taking on increased leadership roles with each promotion. She began as a Product Development Engineer, eventually becoming a Product Manager. Nearly one year ago, Ms. Meltzer was promoted to Lead Design Engineer, Material Handling.
In her current role, Ms. Meltzer is responsible for new product design and development and continuous product improvement, product testing and certification, and field applications and customized solutions. Her ultimate goal is to design products for consumers.
A dedicated worker and avid team player, Ms. Meltzer is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades at McCue, including the “13th Player” award, an acknowledgment from the sales team; the Above and Beyond Award from the marketing team for outstanding work on a trade show; and the Pro GMA award for active participation in a company project. Ms. Meltzer is an active member of the MHI Board of the Youth Professional Network.
