What: Green Energy Doors Open 2017 (GEDO) official launch event of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association’s (OSEA) annual province wide sustainable energy showcase. With 80+ events happening across Ontario between September 22-24, GEDO 2017 is a chance to learn about the latest in green energy technology near where you live.
OSEA’s green energy showcase has also spread to British Columbia and Alberta where similar events will be happening.
Launch will include short presentations by:
Arthur Potts, MPP Beaches-East York and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change
Janis Wilkinson, Interim Executive Director for Ontario Sustainable Energy Association
Mark Quattrociocchi, Enwave Energy Account Manager Representative – on the Deep Water Heating and Cooling Project, a green energy success story
Terry Whitehead, Enbridge Gas Team Leader, Commercial Projects – on the Gas Absorption Heat Pump Project (Toronto Community Housing Corporation)
The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Federal Minister of the Environment and Climate Change (with video greeting)
Steam Whistle Brewery’s inaugural sustainability brewery tour highlighting their own green energy initiatives. These tours will be available to the public throughout the GEDO 2017 weekend.
