Kristen Gizzi is selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession
GARDEN CITY, NY (PRWEB) JULY 26, 2017
The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Kristen N. Gizzi as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. The nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Kristen into this exceptional group of women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Kristen N. Gizzi wears a number of hats professionally. A highly successful attorney, she has served as General Counsel for ECCO III Enterprises, Inc., a New York-based, family-owned heavy highway, environmental and infrastructure construction company, for nearly 15 years. She uses her legal expertise to manage many aspects of the business, including contract evaluation, dispute resolution, leasing and marketing, and relies on her communication skills, creative thinking ability and sharp analytical approach to develop ideas and find innovative solutions to further the goals of the company.
Ms. Gizzi is also Director of Real Estate for ECCO Development, LLC, a real estate management and development company. “I am an integral part of the executive team, I participate in all aspects of decision-making and manage a large, growing real estate portfolio,” Ms. Gizzi added.
As Executive Director of Litchfield Crossing, Inc., the largest retail shopping center in New Milford, CT, Ms. Gizzi oversees company operations, including ensuring compliance with all municipal and town requirements and maintaining solid business relationships with all tenants. She also supervises and coordinates the company’s marketing, social media and public relations strategies and campaigns, including involvement with community outreach programs, and local charities and business organizations.
“My expertise in evaluating the totality of any given circumstance in order to provide sound advice is drawn from my legal and business background,” said Ms. Gizzi. “I believe one’s integrity and reputation are paramount to success. It is those values, and my continued willingness to learn and grow as a person which have allowed me professional growth and success.”
Passionate about giving back to the community, Ms. Gizzi works with Hope’s Door, a nonprofit organization assisting domestic violence victims, and is Co-Facilitator at The Phoenix and the Rose, where she works with middle and high school children to provide education and support around life skills and topics not generally found in traditional academic settings with the goal of providing a valuable skill set, support and empowerment.
Previously, Ms. Gizzi was an Associate with Cerussi & Spring in White Plains, NY. She started her legal career as a Prosecutor at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office in Kew Gardens, New York.
