GettingHired Expands Reach into Veteran Community
    Press Releases
    GettingHired Partners with RecruitMilitary

HANOVER, MD. (PRWEB) MAY 25, 2017
GettingHired, Inc., a national disability recruitment solution and the country’s largest job board for those with disabilities, has further expanded its reach into the veteran community through partnering with RecruitMilitary, the largest military-focused recruiting company with more than 1.1 million veteran jobseekers – 170,000 of which have self-identified as having a disability.

In 2015, 3.9 million veterans had a service-related disability, a number that highlights the importance of helping this population find meaningful work. Through this partnership, RecruitMilitary members will have access to GettingHired’s robust resources and information on a range of topics relevant to jobseekers with disabilities; including access to employment opportunities from inclusive employers, self-identification and disclosure techniques, and information on career fairs and other events.

“GettingHired prides itself on developing and sharing information critical to helping those with disabilities find employment, making this partnership a natural fit,” said Executive Vice President of GettingHired Tracey Klein. “As America’s largest career community for individuals with disabilities, we’re proud to announce this partnership and expand our reach to help more of our nation’s veterans.”

“Combined with work we already do with veteran service organizations, we’re pleased to bring these additional employment resources to injured veterans who connect with us for new career options,” said Peter Gudmundsson, President of RecruitMilitary. “GettingHired’s focus on employment for those with disabilities fits well with RecruitMilitary’s mission to be a career resource for all veterans.”
