Automation, Lifelong Learning, Improvisation Hot Topics at ATD 2017
    Press Releases
ATD is releasing new books on hot topics in talent development at the May 21-24 event.
ATD 2017, the Association for Talent Development’s International Conference & Exposition, kicked off Sunday, drawing thousands to Atlanta. ATD is releasing new books on hot topics in talent development at the May 21-24 event:
    • "Learning in the Age of Immediacy" by Brandon Carson
    • "Unstoppable You" by Patricia A. McLagan
    • "Essential Account Planning" by Mark Donnolo
    • "Go With It" by Karen Hough is also available for pre-sale

The four authors will present education sessions centered on their new books and several will take part in face-to-face meet-ups with conference-goers inside the ATD 2017 Store. (For a full schedule visit http://www.td.org/ATDStore.)
"Learning In the Age of Immediacy": Home Depot’s Brandon Carson sheds light on five technology factors bringing the most disruption to the business of learning: automation, the cloud, mobile, big data, and the Internet of Everything. Look inside the book at http://www.td.org/Immediacy.

"Unstoppable You": Visionary consultant and author Patricia A. McLagan says it’s time to put more energy into developing and unleashing the learning skills and confidence of every individual in your organization. Unstoppable You offers seven practices for effective lifelong learning. Look inside the book at http://www.td.org/UnstoppableYou.

"Essential Account Planning": Sales enablement expert Mark Donnolo positions account planning as an essential part of a high-performing sales organization. He offers five imperatives sales organizations can leverage as landmarks on their path to long-term success. Look inside the book at http://www.td.org/AccountPlanning.

"Go With It": Saying “no” to an idea takes away someone else’s opportunity to feel heard, and that’s an innovation killer. Karen Hough has made a career helping business innovators think upside down with lessons from the improv stage. Look inside the book at http://www.td.org/GoWithIt.

“ATD Press is pleased to debut these highly anticipated talent development titles at our flagship event. ATD’s publishing program serves to advance ATD’s mission to empower all trainers, HR professionals, managers, and talent developers with content that advances our profession,” said publisher Kristine Luecker.

More than 500 talent development publications are available inside the on-site ATD Store.
