Of course, one should not get carried away: a field trip is not meant to be an exploration expedition in which employees may become at risk for getting lost. Companies should choose something safe that most people can tolerate. This is not to say that an easy hike isn’t possible, but if something remotely adventurous or sporty is done, it should be chosen carefully.
