HR technology leader hires seasoned industry veteran Bill Wheeler as Senior Vice President of Channel Sales, whose strategic experience will deepen carrier relationships and expand sales reach
DES MOINES (PRWEB) OCTOBER 25, 2016
Businessolver, a leader in SaaS-based benefits administration technology, today announced the hire of Bill Wheeler as Senior Vice President of Channel Sales. In his new role, Wheeler will lead a Businessolver sales unit focused on driving deepened carrier relationships and expanded business among resellers, trusts and associations, and employer clients in emerging markets (1-1,000 lives).
With more than 20 years of sales experience, specifically in the SaaS industry, Wheeler and his team will help Businessolver maintain its 30 percent year-over-year revenue growth and 95 percent client retention rate.
"I've known Bill for nearly a decade, and am glad that he's brought his immense skill, expertise, and industry knowledge to our team," said Jon Shanahan, Businessolver CEO. "His talents put us on an even higher plane in terms of our ability to achieve our mission to grow our business and delight our clients."
Prior to Businessolver, Wheeler most recently held an executive-level role at PlanSource, where he led sales for the Western U.S. and later transitioned into a strategic role managing carrier relationships and non-direct channel sales. While at PlanSource, he oversaw the organization's relationship with Anthem, the nation's largest for-profit managed healthcare company.
Throughout his career, Wheeler's proven leadership in building teams and processes to improve sales and streamline operations have consistently reduced operational costs, while increasing top-line revenue and bottom-line profits with companies from start up to $100 million. He brings this rich talent and expertise to Businessolver.
"I am extremely excited to join Businessolver," Wheeler said. "What drew me to the organization was its impressive combination of industry-leading technology, executive leadership, and service/delivery model. Businessolver's reputation, vast industry knowledge and forward-thinking client and consumer engagement tools are enabling significant efficiencies in healthcare. I look forward to working with the exceptional staff and management team and helping to drive significant growth."
